Do you want to make a difference? Are you interested in supporting other students living with Mental Health conditions? In building connection and sharing resources? In creating a space for peers to contribute their voice to the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) community? If yes, join the SAS Peer Positive Committee!
The Peer Positive Committee is a peer-led initiative that was started in 2015/16 with the aim of developing an online resource sharing tool that would be available to all SAS students.
The project is nearing readiness and in the content development phase. We’re looking for students with an interest in mental health, peer support, web design, content development or just a desire to contribute to the SAS community, who can commit to coming together 4 Tuesday evenings each term, between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm, to collaborate on creating this exciting new project.
We’re looking for new members. Come and attend a meeting if you’re interested in learning more.
