Mindfulness is the practice of being fully aware of whatever is happening in the present moment, without filters or the lens of judgment. It is a practice that can lead to better stress management, decreased anxiety, increased concentration and a more balanced interaction with everyday situations.
This workshop will run weekly starting January 17th. Each workshop will begin with guided meditation (movement, standing and sitting practices). The last 20 minutes will be for individual practice time (silent meditation or bring headphones and do your own guided practice).
This workshop is intended for beginners and regular practitioners. All students registred with Student Accessibility Services (SAS) are welcome. Come as often as you like.
